Europe learns from each other – VET-teachers and trainers from Bulgaria and Turkey find about in Stuttgart

VET-teachers and trainers from Bulgaria and Turkey came to visit Germany

VET-teachers and trainers from Bulgaria and Turkey came to visit Germany to learn more about the vocational educational training, which is known for its high standard. Invited by Klett MINT, one of the project partners, the 17 teachers and trainers stayed from 24th to 28th of April in Stuttgart. They visited the Ministry of Education and Arts, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a vocational school with their workshops and several apprenticing companies such as Daimler AG, Schnaithmann mechanical engineering and Porsche AG.

During this week’s visits the participants gained information on the dual training first-hand and took a lot of inspiring impressions back home. Some of them liked the close cooperation between companies and schools and the role of the chambers. Others liked the company’s influence on the training at school. All of the participants have one thing in common: their enthusiasm for technology and work. “The smile is still on my face” one of them said after several days in Germany. This makes us happy, too, and we hope it will stay!
